We’re once again hosting our annual summer party with our friends at Rosso wine bar. We’ll be lighting the grills outside and having a Church House style bbq, with wines and music coming from Rosso.
GREEK FEAST
Paris, sous chef at St John Bread & Wine, cooks a late summer feast with food from his home in northern Greece. A special wine list will be available on the night highlighting the fantastic wines from Paris's home region and Greece as a whole.

Northern Italian Feast with Ben and Bronte Tonks at The Church House Inn
We’re happy to be opening the doors to Ben and Bronte Tonks from the Seahorse in Dartmouth for an evening of northern Italian cuisine. We will have 5 courses and wines from Italy to pair. Guests will be welcomed for one sitting at 7pm and served the first course at 7:30.
Menu TBA, for this event we will not be catering for vegetarians.
Mayday Morris Dance
The Church House Inn will be welcoming the Dartington Morris Dancers to perform outside the pub on the eve of Beltane. We would love you to join us in seeing in the summer.

Stoke Gabriel’s own shanty crew, ALL HANDS ON DECK, will be joining us at The Church House for a night of music and food from the sea.

A MEXICAN FEAST WITH JAKE NORMAN
Jake Norman is a chef whose career has spanned many countries and cultures working in London, France and Mexico. He has worked at restaurants such as Bubala, Sabor, St John and is currently the executive sous at Ottolenghi. His food is a celebration of inauthenticity, something he attributes to the joy of cooking and eating in London; a city where a world of cuisines can found. That being said, he has particular awe and adoration for the ingredients and dishes from Mexico and so has created a menu for us that celebrates just that.
